Stopped Kia Boys

After having my vehicle boosted from work two months ago, I installed this system when I got my car back two weeks ago. Within this short amount of time, the alarm system was put into action. Working in the city again, my key fob, and corresponding app on my phone and watch alerted the glass had been broken. I ran outside to see it had been. The blaring alarm scared away the thugs and alerted surrounding bystanders, one of them getting the license plate for police. I would highly recommend. At times the alarm does go off if you hit the lock button too many times or too quickly, or locking the vehicle through the DroneMobile app sometimes sets the alarm off. Potentially user error - but I'd rather it go off more times than not.

Great security/ remote start/ GPS tracker. Product was provided as advertised and was about half the price of car toys. Did have the product professionally installed

Perfect Security/Remote Start System

I can't express how much I love my CompuStar! I had CompuStar many moons ago, moved onto Viper with SmartStart and finally, came back home to CompuStar with DroneMobile. I purchased the T13 for my FJ Cruiser. I absolutely enjoy the proximity unlock and love the thin remote. It's not bulky like many other key fobs out there. The signal reaches quite far compared to any of my previous remotes. If I forget something or need to just run in somewhere real quick, remote starting the vehicle is my preferred method vs having to shut off the engine and restarting. I feel absolutely safe knowing my FJ Cruiser has DroneMobile so I can track it, make sure it's locked and monitor the voltage if not being driven for days wherever it may be. I have noticed one thing though. The battery in the remote is an issue in cold and lower temperatures.

It’s better than the Viper I had on my last truck…

Differences in how the software handles the handheld remote and the Drone Mobile phone remote-start are annoying; the Drone Mobile/phone app seems to lag in updating status. The ""uptime"" touted by Firstech are meaningless when one needs the phone functionality and it doesn't work. Tech sup[port sometimes responds and don't offer much in the way of support. There are many options available and the installer may not discuss those with a customer before installation, so one needs to do his own research prior to installation.
