PRO T13 keeps my car safe!

My GTR is running the PRO T13 and I couldn't be happier. The smartphone integration and security features give me peace of mind wherever the car is parked or displayed at shows. The proximity unlock is super convenient, and the remote quality is top-notch. It's easy to use and helps keeps my car safe. It's the best of its type on the market! Highly recommended for any car enthusiast or person who wants to keep their vehicle safe!

Very Good Alarm and Remote Start

It's a very good alarm and remote starter and a satellite option for remote starting and monitoring with probably only limited cell phone coverage area.

However, that (Drone) option drains the battery. The remote control, which looks awesome. It does not hold a charge anywhere near what we were told. And if you're not paying attention, the dead remote, can lock you out of your car. You can still use the key to open the doors, but the alarm will trigger (siren/horn blasting obnoxiously) as soon as you open the doors.

That happened to my wife at the grocery store parking lot after shopping. The issue was resolved by driving to her with the other remote to disarm the alarm. I did not stay there and troubleshoot to find out why the key in the door and then immediately into the ignition did not disarm it? Certainly annoying with the alarm blasting. Now, I recharge her remote for her every 4 days. I also make sure the less capable spare remote is always charged. \

Otherwise, the alarm works very well. The proximity is very. Remote start works great and all of that is very customizable. When she flies out to visit the children, I am able to monitor the car and battery from home and start it as necessary to maintain the charge. When she lands, I am able to heat or cool the car before she gets to it.

I have, and will continue to recommend this Compustar alarm, but with the above statements intact.

Honest Review

Lots of problems:
1. Overrides my vehicle fob
2. Will not start a diesel in cool weather much less cold weather. Since my Ford fob will not work, I essentially do not have a remote start.
3. VERY DANGEROUS. The app on my phone will state the ignition is on, when in fact it is not. In the heat this creates a dangerous, possibly deadly situation.
4. Changes modes on it own. My fob will switch to "valet" mode. Essentially turning the alarm off. No warning.
5. Cheap plastic connects the remotes to your key chain. Plastic has already broken on remote start/stop so I no longer have it in my possession.
Positive is it does not have a lot of false alarms. But overall a lot of money for a very very below average product.

Good not Great!

Awesome installer! Wish the alarm would 100% disable starter when activated, wish the app and car module would have better sync for alarm status updates, and wish putting the alarm in bypass was easier- the app falls short in consistency doing this. Even with all this, I am installing another system in my newer Sequoia.

Remotes don’t last

The remotes have a poorly manufactured mini connector that malfunctions after about a year. I would not purchase any computer components if they have this defective charging port. I won't be replacing any of my remotes and when I no longer have decent support for the alarm system I will most likely try a system that uses the latest usb-c port connections.
