First remount start system

This was the first experience with an remote start system. I purchased it as a Christmas present for myself. It is working nicely and I like that it can be use with the drone app, that I can start my truck from anywhere and also not needing to carry the remote bc we with me while working on the farm.

Honest review

The product is good for the most part BUT when I start and get in the car and sit down the car turns off with 15 minutes left in the timer OR I get in no problem and stop the blinking lights indicating timer is on with the brake pedal but the timer stays running on the app!! Other than those 2 quirks it starts the car flawlesslly and I would by again.

Proximity Unlock is excellent

My Maverick had the smart key. It would always unlock when I grabbed the drivers door handle. But if I had to put something in the back seat or bed of the truck I would have to use the remote. With the new Compustar R5 remote I simply walk up to the truck and all 4 door unlock and the tailgate. The truck also came with a factory remote start that worked through the app. Most of the time it did not work. No more of these issues with the drone mobile app. I love my Compustar R5 remote start system
