Love it!

I've had this on my 05 Silverado for a number of years now. Still no issues. The range is incredible, with line of sight I'm getting about an 1/8th mile of range to remote start my truck. Doesn't eat batteries, and being able to activate the remote start while it's running is fantastic, as you can pull up to a convenience store, hit the remote start, pull your keys out, lock the doors, run inside and your engine (and heater!) Is still running! A+!

Compustar CS4900-S is an awesome remote start and keyless entry system!

This is the second unit I have bought and have installed on both my truck and Jeep. The system is very responsive and the remotes feel quality and work very well. Each system's installation was simple and straightforward, and the wiring in the instructions is very clear. I highly recommend!

quality remotes

I have worked with many brands and many different models. I've found that these models are extremely well designed and robust to withstand the day to day wear and tear that remotes experience.

The remotes all have a good feel to them and the range is acceptable. Remotes program easily. The only thing that would be nice is if the remotes came programmed to the brains that they accompany when they arent RF kits.

Does this product include installation?

Yes, your purchase will include professional installation at a participating dealer/installer. Before you checkout, please choose an installer in your area. Please note - removal of a previously installed aftermarket remote start system or alarm is not included with your purchase (e.g Viper, Smartstart, Code Alarm).

How does this system work with my Ford?

Compustar systems utilize two key components to integrate with Ford vehicles.

First, your installer will program your system to work with your specific year, make, model, and key type. This is why we require that you verify your vehicle to purchase this product.

Then, your selected installer will configure your installation harness to speak directly with your vehicle's internal computer. In some cases, your purchase will include a vehicle-specific "t-harness", which has factory style connectors for plugging straight into your vehicle's computer systems.

What is "2-way"?

2-way remotes provide audible and visual confirmation whenever you successfully remote start or lock your vehicle. This is significantly more convenient to use than your factory key fob, which may have less than 100 feet of range.

Can I use my factory key fob to remote start my car?

Yes, for most vehicles. Remote start from the factory key fob can be enabled at installation.

What is the warranty?

What is a "BLADE" bypass module?

A bypass module is a piece of hardware that allows the remote starter to mimic your vehicle’s key for safely starting the engine. The bypass module only works while the vehicle is parked - when the driver attempts to put the vehicle into gear, the vehicle will shut off if the key is not present in the ignition (or within range if a push-to-start vehicle)>
