Brrrr! So grateful to have a remote start again!

My remote wore out on my 2013 Kia Rio, even after having it reset after the Kia/Hyundai security system debacle that had those vehicles being broken into following directions posted on TikTok. The uninstall and reinstall was complicated. Nate and TC in the Mobile installation bay were terrific in scheduling and doing the work! And the remote works! During the succession of snow storms we're having, I can warm up the car from inside! This is my first vehicle with a remote start, and I never want to be without it again!! Thanks Best Buy, for the purchase and install! Excellent!

No instructions

Do your research! This is a great product, unfortunately they don't offer details installation instructions like other brands.
Compustar is a professional installation brand not designed for DIY.
If you buy this you'll also need the programmer to adjust settings or have to go to an installer for these adjustments.
I spent twice as long figuring out how to wire this unit into my truck as I did actually installing it. Luckily I found a good forum with an article from a guy who documented the wiring.
Would have given it 5 stars if they had instructions.

You have to have a professional installer flash it buyers beware

I couldn't install it because it has to be flashed by a professional installer who could possibly charge you up to $300 just to flash it. I can't speak for the actual system because I returned it

Works as advertised

Product was recommended by the staff at Autographics and as they had done great work previously I went with their suggestion.
Happy I did.
As long as the product lasts, which believe it will, it will be an excellent purchase

Box one thing remote other

I had a remote start placed in my 2025 RAVE 4 on Tuesday and can’t say it works very well compared to the one I had on my 2006 car.
Can you pleased explain why I was given a box with the 925S remote but on the back of the remote the model number is 900R
