Alarm Kit

This product was purchased out of necessity due to someone attempting to steal my car. I own a Kia Soul. The self starter and alarm system are a Godsend to me and my family because without my car, I am unable to work. I am thankful for Best Buy and the team who installed the equipment, I highly recommend them for all of my electronic related needs and customer service!

No instructions

Do your research! This is a great product, unfortunately they don't offer details installation instructions like other brands.
Compustar is a professional installation brand not designed for DIY.
If you buy this you'll also need the programmer to adjust settings or have to go to an installer for these adjustments.
I spent twice as long figuring out how to wire this unit into my truck as I did actually installing it. Luckily I found a good forum with an article from a guy who documented the wiring.
Would have given it 5 stars if they had instructions.

You have to have a professional installer flash it buyers beware

I couldn't install it because it has to be flashed by a professional installer who could possibly charge you up to $300 just to flash it. I can't speak for the actual system because I returned it

Decent Alarm, Not Programmable

I purchased and had installed a CS752A alarm. I'm not too happy with the fact that when you unlock the doors ALL of the doors unlock at the same time. It would be nice to be able to reprogram the system to unlock the drivers door alone and if possible unlock the rest of the doors. I consider this a safety issue. Sometimes you don't want ALL the doors to unlock at the same time. My understanding is that the Toyota cars have the system programmed to what their car is already programmed to do. For some reason my KIA is not. The shop where I had the system installed did not know the answers to these questions and I couldn't get in touch with an actual sales person from Compustar to get any help. Customer Service never answered the phone. I was left on hold for more than 30 minutes. I really wanted to talk to someone about this issue.
