We recently had a customer with a clear mission: upgrade the security on their Hyundai Elantra N. Advanced Detection with DAS-II

When it comes to vehicle security, you need to know exactly what’s happening in real-time. We equipped this Elantra N with our DAS-II sensor, which acts as the vehicle’s detection system. It is engineered to monitor for:

• Shock: Impacts to the body of the car.
• Tilt: Attempts to jack up the vehicle (often for wheel theft or towing).
• Glass-Breakage: High-frequency sounds associated with shattering windows.

If any intrusion is detected, the system immediately sends a notification to your smartphone and your 2-way remote, ensuring you’re never left in the dark.

Theft Prevention: Secure Push-to-Start

Modern thieves often use relay attacks or signal-mimicking devices to trick your car into thinking the factory key is present. Compustar security systems feature a “starter kill” function that renders these high-tech hacks useless. Even if a thief manages to “mimic” your factory key signal, the Compustar system will refuse to allow the engine to start, effectively stopping the theft before the vehicle can be moved.

Compustar Pro T13

For this build, we chose the Compustar Pro T13, our most advanced 2-way remote kit. It offers industry-leading, 3-mile range monitoring, ensuring you stay connected to your vehicle even when you’re inside a building or far away from the parking lot. Plus, if you ever walk away wondering if you locked the doors or armed the system, the Pro T13 gives you total control right from your pocket.

Cloud-Connected Dash Cam: Drone XC2

To complete the security package, we installed the Drone XC2, the newest dash cam from DroneMobile. This isn’t just a video recorder; it’s a security hub. It provides:

• LTE Live Streaming: View your vehicle’s surroundings from anywhere.
• Cloud Footage: Security clips are automatically uploaded to the cloud, ensuring that even if someone manages to break into the vehicle and destroy the dash cam, the evidence is already safely stored in the DroneMobile app.
