Mixed review

Ive had this professionally installed in my hummer H3 in 2019.
I bought 2 more for family and their vehicles.
For my H3 it worked perfectly for a year, then out of the blues whenever I used my remote to start my H3 the car would act like it would start but not.
I would put my key in and try to start it that way but it wouldn’t start then my key would be locked in the ignition and I couldn’t get it out.
I have taken it back to the installers a few times, they would reset it or something and it would work ok for a while then back to the issue.
The other vehicles are doing just fine and no issues.
So either this is H3 specific or I ended up with a faulty unit.
