Engine shutdown

the main reason for getting the system so we could have a remote start that part works really well. the reason for the poor rating is that the engine shuts off when you open the drivers door requiring you to re start the engine after you open the door you can open all other doors and it will stay running I don't know why it can't be set up to kill engine when shifter is put in gear then you could open drivers door and install the key without the engine shutting down. it is really annoying to re start engine every time My son is Severely handicapped and it takes him a while to get in the van and he needs the air conditioner to be running while getting in the van please let me know if the system can be set up as I stated if I was told ahead of time that was the way the system worked I would not have purchased it.
